Shape of Harmony 聲的形狀

“Shape of Harmony” (聲的形狀), an a cappella music project presented by Boonfaysau starting from 2023, has brought a cappella to the local community - Kwai Tsing District in the form of workshops, masterclasses, and concerts. This project is where our singers' voices weave together to become one and echo throughout the wider avenues and smaller corners of our community!

As an a cappella music project, Shape of Harmony has always been more than a series of singing workshops. Here, every participant, instructor, production team member, and everyone working behind the scenes gives their 200% passion, striving to bring out the very best in what we do. These precious connections have formed many moving moments within our community.

As we approach the third phase of this journey, we gathered once again to revisit the sound prints we’ve created together. At the same time, we hope to meet new friends who share our love for music and to take the next step forward—together.

Creating sunset harmony in our golden hour concerts 🌅

For the past few years, we’ve gathered every November by the Rambler Channel in Tsing Yi—how fortunate that the skies have stayed clear each time, letting us enjoy the golden sunset together. Heartfelt thanks to every audience, every passersby for your support, and to all the participants for your enthusiasm. In every Autumn in the past three years, students were trained and prepared together for this unique performance venue alongside our performance guests.

Boonfaysau released a music video entitled “Imaginary Fairground x Forever Young”, shot in two of the most historical playgrounds in Kwai Tsing.

In parallel to the finale performance in April 2024, Boonfaysau partnered with 周耀輝歌詞班（一世唔畢業）同學會 Chow Yiu Fai Lyrics Writing Course Alumni, to write a cappella original pieces for Kwai Tsing. Students were invited to record inside the recording studio. These works are also distributed to streaming platforms for more to enjoy the beauty of Kwai Tsing community with their ears.
